Thomas David Darby, 52, of Lamplighter Drive, Morgantown, died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 1999, at Monongalia General Hospital.
He was born Feb. 8, 1947, in Chippewa Falls, Wis., son of Thomas Dillard and Eunice Steichen Darby, of Isle of Palms, S.C.
He was a member of St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church. He was an alumnus of St. Francis High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran and attended Wisconsin University and the University of Louisville. He was vice president of Pricing and Contracting with Mylan Pharmaceuticals. He was an avid golfer and member of The Pines Country Club, and of Wild Dunes Golf Club, in South Carolina. He was also active in Morgantown Hockey Association.
Her is also survived by his wife of 27 years, Donna Renstrom Darby; two daughters, Erica Allison Darby, of Columbia, Md., and Amanda Michelle Darby, at home; a son, T.D. Darby, at home; a brother, Donald W. Darby, of Louisville; a sister, Deborah Johnson, of Tampa, Fla.; and his mother-in-law, Catherine Renstrom.
Friends may call at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church from 4-8 p.m. Friday. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, with the Revs. Jeremiah F. McSweeney and Carl E. Bauer as celebrants. Entombment will be in Peace Garden Mausoleum. Lexie Jean Parks
Lexie Jean Parks, 72, of Safety Harbor, Fla., formerly of Fairmont, died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 1999, at Harborside Health Care and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born June 3, 1927, in Worthington, daughter of the late Walter and Ina Michael Pitman.
She was a devoted mother and homemaker. She attended Trinity Assembly of God Church, Fairmont, and First Assembly of God Church, Clearwater, Fla., and was a member of the ladies auxiliary of The Gideons International.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Edgar Parks, whom she married Feb. 6, 1944; a son and spouse, Barry and Ellen Jane Parks, of Fairmont; a daughter and spouse, Paulette and Robert Morris, of Idamay; a brother and spouse, Julian and Nenie Pitman, of Killarm; three sisters and a spouse, Velma Hartley, and Joan and Eugene Blagg, all of Idamay, and Dorothy Kocan, of Sellersville, Pa.; four granddaughters, Heidi Morris, Erin Meadows, Kayla Morris and Lee Ann Linger; and a great-granddaughter, Kylee Linger.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Virgil Pitman, and two brothers-in-law, Gilbert Hartley and Steve Kocan.

Guy Robert Fizer Sr.
Guy Robert Fizer Sr., 77, of West View Avenue, Morgantown, died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 1999, at Greater Baltimore Medical Center, Towson, Md.
He was born Jan. 5, 1922, in Kingwood, son of the late Charles Ray and Flora Bell Fizer.
He retired from the Department of Energy after 33 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a Purple Heart recipient. He was a member of VFW Post 548, Morgantown, and was an avid golfer and had been a member of Meadow Ponds Golf Course.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Hindman Fizer; four sons and spouses, Guy R. Fizer Jr., and David A. and Wanda Fizer, all of Morgantown, Randall E. and Joyce Fizer, of Colorado, and Rodney S. and Maryetta Fizer, of Ohio; a brother and spouse, Samuel and Eleanor Fizer, of Morgantown; nine grandchildren, Guy R. Fizer III, Lisa Fizer Little, David J. Fizer, Christopher Fizer, Brian Fizer, Jason D. Fizer, Brittnay Fizer, Eric Guy Fizer and Zachary Fizer; and two great-grandchildren, Kylene Fizer and Hun ter S. Fizer.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth, and three sisters, Gladys, Ruby and Eva.

John William Bubenko
John William Bubenko, 93, of Millersville, Md., formerly of Morgantown, died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 1999, at Wilson Manor Assisted Living Facility, Pasadena, Md.
He was born April 8, 1906, in Hungary.
He is survived by three sisters, Teresa Duty and Susan Bubenko, both of Millersville, and Helen Dadich, of Georgia.

Florence R. Beardsley
Florence R. Beardsley, 87, of 198 Killdeer Lane, Grantsville, Md., died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 1999, as the result of an accident in the Grantsville Shopping Plaza parking lot.
She was born Feb. 27, 1912, daughter of the late Jess A. and Nellie Stoner Rhodes.
She was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church, Point Marion, Pa.
She is survived by three daughters, Susan B. Maxwell, of Oswego, N.Y., Betsy J. Beardsley, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Kathleen B. Johnson, of Annapolis, Md.; a brother, Raymer M. Rhodes, of Orlando, Fla.; a sister, Janet R. Jacob, of Sun City, Ariz.; and six grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, E. Eugene Beardsley, on July 20, 1966; two sisters, Edna R. Richner and Winifred R. Lyons; and a brother, Albert G. Rhodes.

Agnes Louise Weekly Yoho, 77, of Mannington, died Thursday, Nov. 4, 1999, at Fairmont General Hospital.
She was born Aug. 20, 1922, in Pennsboro, daughter of the late James Ellis Weekley and Ila McKinney Weekley Hayes.
She was a member of Mannington Church of Christ, the Woman's Club of Mannington, Friends of the Mannington Library, OES Pennsboro Chapter 26, and Marion County WVEA, and was a lifetime member of Marion County Senior Citizens (Fairmont Branch) and of WVEA. She retired from Marion County Board of Education and graduated from Pennsboro High School in 1940.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Samuel Wayne Yoho; two sons and spouses, Steve and Karen Toothman Yoho, of Mannington, and Jim and Kathy Long Yoho, of Cullman, Ala.; and five grandchildren, Stephanie Yoho, Heather Yoho, Kristin Yoho, Jessica Yoho and Justin Yoho.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Edwin Weekley.

Mary Louise Brown, 82, of Ellenton, Fla., formerly of Parkersburg, died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 1999, at her daughter's home in Arlington, Texas.
She was born Feb. 12, 1917, in Charleston, daughter of the late Harry Lucas and Viva Ruth Wharton Campbell.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons and spouse, William G. and Julie Brown IV, of Middleburg, Va., and Thomas C. Brown, of Leesburg, Va.; two daughters and spouses, Dr. Ann L. and Moloy Gupta, of Redlands, Calif., and Sandra J. and George Cooper, of Arlington; a brother and spouse, Robert L. and Mary Ann Campbell, of Charleston; six grandchildren, Chonchol, Suzanne, Michael, David, Kelly and Chris; and a brother-in-law, Allen L. Williams, of Lake Wales, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, William G. Brown III, on July 6, 1986.

Eric A. Raudenbush, 50, of Sennett Street, Morgantown, died Thursday, Nov. 4, 1999, at Monongalia General Hospital.
He was born June 28, 1949, in Washington, D.C., son of John and Arline Jenkins Raudenbush, of Pinellas Park, Fla.
He was a loving husband and father.
He is also survived by his wife of 24 years, Patricia Ross Raudenbush; three sons and a spouse, Evan and Molly Raudenbush, of Morgantown, and Owen Raudenbush and Alan Raudenbush at home; a daughter, Erica Raudenbush, at home; and a brother and spouse, Reid and Colleen Raudenbush, of Kennedyville, Md.

Helen M. Turner, 72, of Terra Alta, died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 1999, at Preston Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 22, 1927, in Williamsport, Pa., daughter of the late Ottomer and Anna Mary Cryder Page.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by a son, Kenneth Page, of Bunkerhill; two brothers, Robert Page, of Salt Lake City, and Paul Page, of Buffalo, N.Y.; and four sisters, Erma White, of Waterbury, Conn., Eleanor Gearhart, of Linden, Pa., and Peggy Cipriani and Phoebe Weaver, both of Williamsport, Pa.

Abner Benjamin Simms
Abner Benjamin 'Junior' Simms, 62, of Ravenna, Ohio, died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 1999, at his home.
He was born Nov. 5, 1936, in Morgantown, son of the late Abner and Marie Smith Sims.
He was a maintenance worker for Maplewood JVS and had planned to retire in January. He was a member of Family of Jesus Fellowship, Ravenna.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Betty Turner Sims; two daughters and spouses, Robin and Elmer Bennett, of Rootstown, Ohio, and Randi and Matt Clites, of Ravenna; two sons and spouses, Dennis and Danielle Sims, of Sparta, Wis., and Dewayne and JoEllen Sims, of Morgantown; three sisters and spouses, Jean and Ron Cole, of Ravenna, JoAnn and Steve Watkins, of Springfield, and Roseanne and Carter Henry, of Morgantown; three brothers and spouses, James and Irene Sims, and Earl and Penny Sims, all of M organtown, and Robert, of Pineville; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl Sims, Buddy Sims and Roger Sims.

Delinda Marie Derby, infant daughter of David Wayne and Elizabeth Sue Villers Derby, died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 1999, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown.
She is also survived by paternal grandparents, Allen and Wilma Derby, of Littleton; paternal great-grandmother Bettie Derby, of Littleton; maternal grandmother, Susan Irene Villers, of Morgantown; and maternal great-grandparents Charles and Mary Villers, of Waynesburg, Pa.

Richard Hershman
Richard Hershman, 51, of Van Voorhis Road, Morgantown, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999, while spending the weekend at Canaan Valley with family members.
He was born March 15, 1948, in Morgantown, son of Thelma V. Hershman and the late Orval R. Hershman.
He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, and graduated from Morgantown High School in 1966. He served for many years in the U.S. Army Reserves, and was a member of State Line Hunting Club. He was a police officer with the WVU Department of Public Safety for 25 years, and was recently promoted to lieutenant. He also was part owner and manager of Hershman's Mobile Park, Van Voorhis Road.
He is also survived by his wife, Michelle Martin Hershman; two sons, Chad, who attends Morgantown High, and Brandon, who attends North Elementary; a daughter, RaDell Hershman, of Morgantown; his mother- and father-in-law, Lloyd and AnnaBelle Martin, of Over Cheat; a brother and spouse, Harley G. and Marlene Hershman; two sisters and a spouse, Carol Jean and Ron Peterson, and Valerie White, all of Morgantown; four nephews, Rusty and Toby Peterson, of Morgantown, Gary Hershman, of Martinsburg, and Jeff We iland, of Missouri; a niece, Erica McCord, of Morgantown; other close family members including Carl and Emma Pugh, Jane and Robert Ridgway and family, Junior and Ann Martin, Don and Linda Kennison and family, Barb and Danny Pugh and family, and Vickie an d Pete Dennis and family, all of Over Cheat, and Bill and Laura White, of Kingwood; and his loyal canine companion, Allie.

Roseann Brooks
Roseann Brooks, 97, of Cassville, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999, at home.
She was born April 20, 1902, in Somerset County, Pa., daughter of the late Domer and Martha Phillipie King.
She where she worked as a presser at Morgan Shirt Factory beginning in the 1950s and retired in 1967.
She is survived by six children and spouses, Lillian Evanoff, Irene Gillespie, Joan and Brinley Forman and Connie and George Thomas, all of Cassville, and Barbara and William Constante and Brady and Mary Brooks, all of Westover; a sister, Ruth Churchill, of Champion, Pa.; 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy W. Brooks, two sisters, eight brothers, two sons-in-law and a granddaughter.

Ruby Aldine Null, 74, of Burton, died Friday, Oct. 8, 1999, at Fairmont General Hospital.
She was born Aug. 6, 1925, near Hundred, daughter of the late Charlie and Bertha Lancaster Mariner.
She was Protestant. She was a homemaker and a loving wife.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Armand 'Ham' Null, and a brother, William Mariner, of South Amherst, Ohio.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Johnie Thomas; a brother, Charles Mariner; and a half brother, Albert Stottlemire.

Wilma A. Clutter
Wilma A. Clutter, 90, of 210 Laurel Run Road, Waynesburg, Pa., died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999, at home.
She was born March 9, 1909, in Bristoria, Pa., daughter of the late Cephas and Emma Roche Clutter.
She attended Indiana (Pa.) State Teacher's College and Waynesburg College. She began her teaching career in 1927 in Washington County, Pa. She taught at a one-room school for seven years, and at Lagonda for 13 years. She retired from Jefferson-Morgan School District after teaching at Rices Landing, Pa., for eight years and at Lippencott Elementary for 16 years, where she had also served as building principal. She later worked as a substitute teacher in the district for several years. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Waynesburg. For several years, she attended Mount Pleasant Methodist Church at Gordon Hill and served as a lay leader. She was a member of the national and state educational associations, the Retired Teachers Association and AARP.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She is survived by her son, Charles R. Clutter, of Waynesburg; two grandsons, David and Terry Clutter; and a great-grandson, Isiaac Clutter.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Gail Knight, Hazel Day and Eleanor Scott, and three brothers, Floyd Clutter, Elmer Clutter and Joseph Clutter.

Thelma Hale, 68, of R.D. 1, Dilliner, Pa., died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999, at Monongalia General Hospital.
She was born July 27, 1931, in Van Meter, Pa., daughter of the late John R. and Lora Tiller Duffy.
She was a member of Poland Mines Assembly of God Church, Dilliner. She was formerly employed as a nurse's aide at Curry Memorial Home, Waynesburg, Pa., and as a private duty nurse in Morgantown. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing and making crafts.
She is survived by five children and spouses, Ralph B. and Ellen Hale, and Fred and Janet Hale, all of Morgantown, John and Mary Ellen Hale, of Lakeland, Fla., Tresa and Glenn Collins, of Lorain, Ohio, and Sharon 'Toni' and Dorval Davis, of McClellandtown, Pa.; seven grandchildren, Toni Lynn Hale, Dorval Davis Jr., Javon Davis, Tamara Collins, Glenn Collins Jr., Shaylee Renee Hale and Jonel Marie Hale; two great-granddaughters, Shariyka Hale and Naleesha Hale; a son-in-law, Barry Dickson, of Morgantown; and four sisters, Lois DeBose, of Cleveland, Johnna Mae Stafford and Gloria Terry, both of Lorain, and Marilyn Buckner, of Texas.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Hale; a daughter, Kathy Hale Dickson, in 1998; a son, Alonzo Ray Hale; a sister, Blanche Duffy; and two brothers, Alonzo and John Duffy.

William A. Stadtmiller, 92, a longtime resident of Curwensville, Pa., and most recently of DuBois, Pa., died Friday, Oct. 8, 1999, at DuBois Regional Medical Center West.
He was born Feb. 23, 1907, in Indiana, Pa., son of the late William C. and Rebecca Stile Stadtmiller.

He was born April 30, 1917, in Fayette County, Pa., son of the late Isaac and Margaret Watt Roebuck.
He retired from Ford Motor Co., Cleveland Plant. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of VFW Post 9916 of Westover, and the American Legion and Eagles, both of Point Marion, Pa. He was Protestant.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Alice Taylor Roebuck; a son, Ronald Keith Roebuck; a daughter, Paula Eleanor Cline, of California; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by seven brothers and four sisters.

He was born Feb. 20, 1926, in Marquess community, Preston County, son of Laura Cobun Wolfe, of Moatsville, and the late Lorain J. Wolfe.
He was a farmer and was retired as a construction worker. He was a 1945 graduate of Fellowsville High School. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Mount Zion United Methodist Church, Marquess, Col. Rowan Post 2345 VFW, Tunnelton, and Laborers Local 379. He was an avid hunter.
He is also survived by his wife, Dorothy M. Bolyard Wolfe; a son, Robert O. Wolfe Jr., of Moatsville; two daughters, Loretta F. Wolfe, of Moatsville, and Brenda K. Roy C. Hall, 79, of Hyatt Avenue, Norwood Addition, Morgantown, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999, at home.
He was born July 19, 1920, in Morgantown, son of the late William A. and Bessie Warman Hall.
He worked with the U.S. Bureau of Mines/Department of Energy for 38 years, and operated the Texaco Station in Sabraton. After retirement, he owned and operated Hall's Auto Repair. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a lifetime member of VFW Post 548, Morgantown. He was Protestant.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Madge Hall; three daughters and spouses, Beth Ann Hall, at home, Brenda and Randy Zagar, of Hyatt Avenue, and Barbara and Raymond Bonnett, of Halpine Street; two grandchildren, Cody Zagar and Katey Zagar; and a brother, Russell D. Hall, of Kingwood Pike.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn, and a brother, Kenneth.

Louella E. Conn
Louella E. Conn, 81, of McCullough Avenue, Morgantown, died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999, at Madison Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Hastings Funeral Home will provide cremation services. Graveside service at Mount Union Cemetery, Point Marion Road, will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 11, with Dr. Patrick Mead officiating.
Owen Naylor
Owen Naylor, 66, of Reedsville, died Sunday, Nov. 7, 1999, at his home.
He was born April 20, 1933, in Elkhurst, Clay County, son of the late Elvin Garrett and Maggie Mae Nichols Naylor.
He served in the U.S. Army at Camp Gordan, Calif., and St. Jean D'Angely, France, and was discharged with the rank of corporal. He was a member of American Legion Post 0056, Kingwood. He enjoyed golf, bowling, hunting and fishing. He was Baptist.
He lived most of his life in Webster County. He began his career with Telephone Utilities of Pennsylvania in Webster Springs, in July 1963. He retired Sept. 1, 1993, from Alltel Telephone Co., Masontown. He previously worked in the coal mines in Webster.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Barbara Handschumacher; a son and spouse, Kenneth and Tina Naylor, of Masontown; a granddaughter, Brandi Naylor, of Masontown; stepfather, William 'Bill' Williams, of Bolair; two brothers and spouses, Garrold K. 'Ben' and Jean Naylor, of Amhurst, Ohio, and Billie E. and Imogene Naylor, of Medina, Ohio; and four sisters and spouses, Loretta M. and Ellis Gregory, of Bolair, Lorenia L. and Frank Velolta, of Brunswick, Ohio, Carol A. and Tom Anderson, of Webster Sprin gs, and Lura Naylor, of Medina.
He was also preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at Waldeck Funeral Home, Masontown, from 6-9 p.m. Monday, and at Dodd and Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs, from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday. Service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10, with the Revs. Delbert Lyons and Bud Cochran officiating. Burial will be in West Virginia Memorial Gardens, Calvin.
