Marietta Faye Fritz Cameron, 56, of Baileysville, WV went home to be with her Lord on Saturday May 30, 2009 at Charleston Area
Medical Center, General Division, surrounded by her loving family following a long illness. She was born August 28, 1952 in Pineville,
WV a daughter of the late Bailey and Margaret Craft Fritz. She was a homemaker and loving wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to
her parents four infant children, a brother Bailey Fritz, Jr. and a sister Dorothy Ogle also preceded her in death. Survivors include her
loving husband Truman Lee Cameron; a daughter Leanna Marie Cameron of Baileysville, WV; a grandson Tyler Lee Cameron of
Baileysville, WV; five sisters Shirley Hartwell and husband Bobby of Eden, NC, Iva Federsped and husband Wayne and Emma Podojil
and husband Tony all of Cleveland, OH, Melissa Cameron of Marianna, WV and Drema Turpin and husband Jim of Briar Creek, WV; two
brothers Joe Fritz and wife Dorothy of Martinsville, VA and David Fritz of Cleveland, OH; and a host of other loving family and friends.

Angie Blankenship Rosenbaum, 69, of Oceana, WV went to be with the Lord on May 23, 2009 at her home surrounded by her loving
family following a short illness. Angie was born on February 14, 1940 in Simon, WV, a daughter of the late Bert Joseph and Myrtle
Francis Kennedy Blankenship. Her husband Donald F. Rosenbaum also preceded her in death along with three sisters Ilene Kennedy,
Irene Cline and Rosalee Blankenship; four brothers Jerry, Robert, Roy and Jimmy Blankenship. Angie was an avid gardener, loved all
her animals and was a C.N.A. She was a member of the Gloryland and the Forgiven Gospel singing groups which she loved
immensely. She got great enjoyment from going to yard sales, where she never met a stranger. Survivors include her children Jimmy H.
and wife Deana Rosenbaum of Danville, VA, Barry Rosenbaum of Oceana, WV and Debbie Parsons and husband William “Peewee” of
Oceana, WV with whom she made her home; two grandchildren Carla Parsons and Caleb Rosenbaum; three step-grandchildren
Shawn Parsons, Michael Parsons and Nick Parker; three sisters Mary McGovern, Alice Lester and husband Roger and Maxine Steel
and husband Arlen all of Oceana, WV; three sisters-in-law Jessie Huff, Becky Abernathy and Catherine Blankenship; and a host of
nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, and a long time companion Hubert Hatfield. Funeral service will be held at noon on
Tuesday May 26, 2009 at the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco with the Rev. William Cook officiating. Angie will be laid to

Joseph Woodrow Dean, of Crouches Farm, Clear Fork, WV, went to rest in the arms of Jesus on May 10, 2009 at his home following a
short illness. He was born at Cana, Virginia a son of the late Henry and Rosie Willard Dean. Joseph was of the Baptist faith and loved
gardening, cooking and spending quiet time at home with his family. Six sisters and four brothers also preceded him in death. He is
survived by his loving wife of eleven and a half years, Dolly Hatfield Dean; a sister Bertha Vaughn; a special nephew Dale Vaughn; fifteen
step children; including a very special step granddaughter Daisy Doll Hatfield; three special garden buddies James Gross, Monroe Cole
and Ravon Toler; several step grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other loving family and friends. Private funeral services will
be held on Wednesday May 13, 2009 at the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV. Joseph will be laid to rest in Hatfield
cemetery, Little Creek, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 6 until 7:00 PM on Tuesday May 12, 2009 at the funeral home.

Donald Eugene Brian Hood, 26, made his home in Killeen, Texas for the
past three years and was formerly of Oceana, WV passed away on
Saturday May 9, 2009 in Killeen of a sudden illness. He was a 2000
graduate of Oceana High School, a US Army Veteran, having served in
Korea and Iraq, and a member of the Killeen Seventh Day Adventist
Church. He was born July 17, 1982 in Beckley, WV a son of the late
Donald Hood and Sherry Lusk Hood of Oceana, WV. His paternal
grandparents jack and Ruth Hood and maternal grandfather Frank J. Lusk
also preceded him in death. Survivors also include his wife Erica, two
daughters Don`nasia and Anniyah, and a son Maurice all of Killeen, Texas;
a brother Trenton R. Hood of Huntington, WV; a sister Lenette A. Wood of
Oceana, WV; maternal grandmother Garnett O. Lusk of Oceana, WV; many
aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00
AM Friday May 15, 2009 at the Full Gospel Tabernacle, Kopper City Bottom,
WV, with Pastor Ricky Proffitt officiating. Brian will be laid to rest in Palm

Douglas Randolph “Doug” “Pops” Blevins, 74, of Oceana, WV
passed away on Thursday April 30, 2009 after a long illness.
Doug was born January 21, 1935 in Glen Fork, WV, a son of the
late Thomas Manuel and Wilmath Mae Adkins Blevins. Pops was
U.S. Marine having served in the Korean War. He was a former
Chef having owned his own restaurant in California. His son
Tony Blevins also preceded him in death along with a brother
Harold Blevins and two grandsons Micha Tilley and Donald Ray
Blevins, Jr. Survivors include three daughters Susan Marie-Ann
Crouse and husband Mickey of Lillydale, WV, Debbie Sue
Henderson and husband James and Carol Marie Poole and
husband John all of CA; three sons Donald Ray Blevins and wife
Diane, Michael Anthony Blevins and Thomas Robert Blevins all of
CA; thirty-two grandchildren and several great grandchildren;
along with a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral
services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday May 5, 2009 at the
Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV. Friends
may gather with the family from 11:00 AM until service time on
Tuesday at the funeral home. Following his wishes he will be
cremated and his cremains will be buried at a later date.

Bruce “Sam” Blankenship, Jr., 72, of Oceana, WV went home to be
with the Lord on Wednesday April 29, 2009. Sam was born September 18,
1937 in Clear Fork, WV, a son of the late Bruce and Jocie Josephine Acord
Blankenship, Sr. Sam was a retired coal miner. His daughter Lisha “Lisa”
Hall also preceded him in death along with two sisters Geneva Cole and
Margie Rowe and two brothers William Cook and James Blankenship.
Survivors include his loving wife Freda Mae Massey Blankenship; a
daughter Tina Toler and husband Eric of Oceana, WV; two sons Tommy
Blankenship and wife Ellie of Oceana, WV and Ricky Blankenship and wife
Valerie of Kopperston, WV; two sisters Kathleen Hatfield and husband
Eugene of Cola Mountain, WV and Patsy Benjamin of Oceana, WV; two
brothers Robert Blankenship and wife Shirley of Lillydale, WV and Holly
Blankenship and wife Ethel of Sunhill, WV; thirteen grandchildren Scottie
Hamilton, Tiffany Toler, Jennifer Blankenship, Bruce Blankenship III, Chasity
Whittson, Josh Pennington, Angel Reed, Melissa Blankenship, Mitchell
Lambert, Channing Lambert, Gabriel Lambert, Jennifer Lambert and
Zachary Belcher; eight great grandchildren Chase E. Hamilton, Herbert Lee

Dana Keith “Kimmie” Cook, 50, of Cincinnati, OH, formerly of Cyclone,
WV passed away following a short Illness on Sunday April 19, 2009 at
University of Cincinnati Hospital. Kimmie was a wheelwright and a 1977
graduate of Oceana High School. He was born February 11, 1959 in
Logan, WV, a son of the late Cleetis F. Cook and Sonia Lee “Jackie”
Wright Cook. Kimmie was an avid sports fan, especially of the Cincinnati
Reds, Pittsburgh Steelers and West Virginia University. We will miss his
wit and sense of humor. His infant brother Terry Mitchell Cook also
preceded him in death. Survivors include his loving mother Sonia Lee
“Jackie” Wright Cook of Cyclone, WV; a sister Linda Karen Cook Brown
and husband Steve “Charlie B” Brown of Cyclone, WV; a brother Larry
H. Cook and wife Deborah Neal Cook of Fairdale, WV; two nephews
Stephen Todd Brown and wife Amanda of Cyclone, WV and Patrick Neal
Cook and fiancé Tingle Lange of Dayton, OH; three nieces Shelly Brown

Millard Mckinley Lockhart, Jr., 61, of Panther, WV passed away
on Saturday April 25, 2009 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital,
Roanoke, VA. He was a retired coal miner and a member of the
Panther Missionary Baptist Church. Millard was born December 4,
1947 in Panther, WV a son of the late Millard McKinley and Ellen
Keen Lockhart, Sr. His two brothers Jessie James Lockhart and
Orville Jim Lockhart also preceded him in death. Survivors include
his loving wife Carol Lynn Dehne Lockhart; two daughters Mellisa
Hernandaz of North Carolina and Tracy Cline and husband Dino of
Patrick Springs, WV; three sons Adam Lockhart and wife Amy of
Panther, WV, Kenny Lockhart of Bassett, VA and Jason Lockhart
and wife Renee of Guesses Fork, VA; a sister Virginia Bernice
Lester and husband Charles Daniel, Jr. of Bassett, VA; a brother
Frankie Jim Lockhart, Sr. and wife Francis of Panther, WV; fifteen
