Terry Lee Cline, 57, of Hanover, WV was called home on Wednesday March 28, 2012 in Logan
Regional Medical Center. He was born April 7, 1954 in Welch, WV, a son of the late Rondale Cline and
Margaret Clay Cline of Beckley, WV. He attended the Apostolic Faith Tabernacle and was a member of
the UMWA. Survivors include his wife of 35 years Brenda Blankenship Cline; three sons Terry Allen
Blankenship of Glen Rogers, WV, Eddie Blankenship of Glen Rogers, WV, and Michael Cline of Hanover,
WV; step children Johnny Ray Belcher of Justice, WV, and Amy (Michael) Paynter of Peterstown, WV;
three sisters Linda Cline of Hanover, WV , Brenda Kennedy of Oceana, WV, and Debbie (Jack) Clay of
Beckley, WV; two brothers Jerry Cline of Beckley, WV, and Timmy Cline of Oceana, WV; three
grandchildren and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on
Sunday April 1, 2012 at the Apostolic Faith Tabernacle, Lillydale with Pastor Curt Stafford officiating.

Nugene Justice Steele, 54, of Panther, WV went home to be with the Lord on Friday March 30, 2012 in
Welch Community Hospital. She was born January 6, 1958 in Grundy, VA, a son of the late Lonnie and
Mary Mae Jackson Justice. She was a loving wife and mother, and a member of the High Knob Church of
the Living God. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Kevin Lee “BoBo” Steele
and a brother Vestil Justice. Left to mourn her passing is her loving husband of 37 years Elmer Steele; a
daughter Nancy Steele of Iaeger; three sons Derrick (Tawnya) Steele of Raysel, Teddy (Oma) Steele of
Horse Creek and Jeff (Monica) Steele of Beckley; seven grandchildren Laiken Steele, Ashley Steele,
Allison Steele, Jacob Steele, Austin Steele, Landon Steele, and Kaleb Steele; three sisters Virginia
Justice of Asheboro, NC, Rosalee Justice of Abbington, VA and Emma Jean Justice of Guessiesfork, VA;
a brother Edward (Wanda) Justice of Colorado Springs, CO; best friend and sister-in-law Regina Steele;

Acie Arden Cline, 80, of Lynco, WV went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday April 4, 2012 in
Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital following a long illness. He was born December 21, 1931 in
Simon, WV, a son of the late Grover and Mexico Goodman Cline. He was the owner and operator of the
Jesse Horse Show Grounds. He was the manager and a lead vocalist of the Muddy Bottom Boys and
played the acoustic guitar. Acie was the last surviving member of his immediate family. In addition to his
parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Irene Francis Cline and their infant twins Gary and
Wanda; seven brothers, three sisters and a daughter-in-law Diana Cline. Those left to cherish his memory
are his loving wife of 32 years Wilma Marie Osborne Cline, five daughters Kadie (Dave) Acord, Dora
(Denver) Goodman, Arlene (Bruce) Lopez, Marie (Les) Francis and Angela (Eddie) Workman; two sons
Lucky Cline and Norman Cline; eight grandsons Gary Acord, David Ray Acord, Cody Acord, Tommy
Acord, Joseph Goodman, Denver Goodman, Tanner Workman, and Casey Cook; six granddaughters
Chelsey Francis, Ashley Workman, Jenna Workman, Tenesha Richards, Judy Kennely, and Tori Lopez;
eleven great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving family and friends.

Riley Edward Roberts, 59, of Orchard Branch Hollow near Iaeger, WV passed away on Sunday April 8,
2012 in Welch Community Hospital. He was born July 28, 1952 in Welch, WV, a son of the late Elisha
“Preacher” Roberts and Alice Steele Roberts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his
brothers Eugene and Elisha “Junior” Roberts and a sister Carol Sue Roberts. Edward was a disabled coal
miner and was affiliated with the High Knob Church of God of Iaeger. He was a loving husband, father,
grandfather, brother and friend. He liked to spend time with friends and family and never met a stranger.
He also had a love for horses and cattle. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 34 years
Marie Steele Roberts; three sons Riley “Eddie” Roberts and wife Kelli of Iaeger, Melvin Roberts of the
home and Tony Roberts and companion Melanie Phillips of Orchard Branch Hollow; his beloved
grandchildren Dana and Christiana Roberts of Iaeger and Tony Roberts and Barbara Phillips of Orchard
Branch Hollow; four sisters Ruth Ann Harless of Gilbert, Ellen Hall of Premier, Karen “Bettle” Hagerman

William Oscar Roberts, Jr., 64, of Iaeger, WV passed away on Friday April 20, 2012 at his home. He
was born April 26, 2012 in Panther, WV a son of the late William Auther and Maudie pearl Cook Roberts,
Sr. He was a member of the house of Gethsemane Church and a retired bricklayer. In addition to his
parents two sisters Edith Roberts and Elisie Hartwick preceded him in death along with two brothers Ira
and Kennis Roberts; a granddaughter Misty Marie Justice Medero and a brother-in-law John Henry Rowe.
Survivors include his loving wife Thelma Marie Rowe Roberts; a daughter Melissa Ann :Lisa: Hayes of New
Port Richie, FL; a sister Elizabeth Lockhart and husband Harvey of Bassett, VA; a brother Walter Roberts
and wife Margie of KY; two special grandchildren Melina Lynn Rowe Meadows and husband John and
David Lee Justice and wife Jodie Nadean all of Iaeger; four great grandchildren Dakota William Rowe,

Jermee JoMack Mullins, newborn, of Gary, WV went home to be with the Lord on Friday April 6, 2012 at
Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. He was born Friday April 6, 2012 in Huntington, WV, a son of
Amanda Jean Mullins and Ronald Jones of Gary, WV. He was preceded in death by his grandfather
Ruphus Lace Mullins and great grandparents Hiram King and Bretta Marie Gilbert of War, WV. Those left
to cherish his memory include two brothers Jordan, and Joseph Diggs: a sister Kaci Jo Hagler;
grandmother Catherine Mullins of Gary, WV; aunt Flora Maxwell of Gary, WV; uncle Ruphus “Mackie”
Mullins, Jr. of War, WV; great grandparents Jean and Mack Mullins of Raysal, WV; the entire Jones family;
and a host of other loving family and friends. We know that Jermee is in Heaven being watched over by our
father and grandparents flying with the angels. Jermee was loved the first moment we found out about his

Kimberly Ann “Kimmie” Wesley, 21, of Rock, WV, formerly of Ravencliff went home to be with the Lord
on Sunday April 29, 2012 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born June 5, 1990 in
Beckley, WV a daughter of Valerie and Jimmy “Duck” Shumate of Ravencliff, WV. Kimberly was a CNA at
Glen Wood Park Retirement Home of Bluefield, WV and had formerly worked at Heartland of Beckley and
a 2009 graduate of Wyoming East High School. Kimmie enjoyed life and being around her family and
friends. She lived with her best friend and roommate Justin Harmon. She was preceded in death by her
grandparents Randy Wesley, Jimmie Shumate, and Judy Pettry; an aunt Mary Wesley; and an uncle Keith
Jarrell. Survivors include her loving parents Valerie and Jimmy “Duck” Shumate; a sister Miranda Shumate;
a brother Travis Shumate all of the home; grandparents Roger Pettry and companion Ida McMillion; Judy
Shumate all of Ravencliff, Sheryl Wesley and step grandfather Timmy Tilley of Jesse and a host of other

Catherine Ware Rose, 84, of Baileysville, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Friday May 4, 2012 at
Wyoming Continuous Care, New Richmond, WV following a long illness. She was born August 19, 1927 in
Corrine, WV a daughter of the late Edith Hicks Alley and Noey Ware. Catherine was a lifetime resident of
Baileysville and a member of Clear Fork Independent Church of God where she dearly loved her church
family. She had worked over twenty years for the Wyoming County Board of Education as a teacher’s aide.
Also preceding her in death was her loving husband of 61 years Ronald Lee Rose. Left to mourn her
passing is her son Billy Gene Rose and wife Kay of Oceana, two grandsons Kelly Wayne Rose and wife
Kerrina of Baileysville and Gregory Lee Rose and companion Robin Massey of Bolt; a granddaughter
Jacqui Lynn Hill and husband Ryan of Pipestem; six great grandchildren Hannah and Colton Rose, Isaac,
Nathan, Caleb and Callie Hill; two step great grandchildren Nicholas and Thomas Forren; and many other

Kathy Jane Cline Norton, 59, of Clear Fork, WV, passed away on Wednesday May 2, 2012 at Welch
Community Hospital, Welch, WV following a long illness. She was born June 5, 1952 in Welch, WV a
daughter of the late Onnie Ireland Cline and Hattie Chambers Cline. She was a loving mother and
homemaker. Survivors include two daughters Barbara "Barbie" Rizleris and Lisa Norton both of Glen
Rogers, WV; a son Dennis Schultz of Logan, WV; a brother Onnie M. Cline of Hometown, IL; a sister
Drema Root of Chicago, IL; a special uncle Homer Chambers of Princeton, WV; and other uncles, aunts

Elizabeth Walls Perry, 88, of Cyclone, WV went peacefully to be with the Lord on Wednesday May 9,
2012 at her home. She was born October 15, 1923 in Cyclone, WV, a daughter of the late Samuel and Ida
Jane Cook Walls. She was a devout Christian for 71 years and a member of the Campus Church of God.
She served in a variety of capacities in the church, answering the Lord’s call as she felt it. Elizabeth was
also preceded in death by her husband Rev. Elvin Ray Perry; five brothers Bill, Norman, Frank, Joe and
Guy Walls; and a sister Elsa Ray. She was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother. She is
survived by three children Joan (Proc) Cook, Kenneth Ray Perry and James Gregory “Jim” (Terri) Perry;
three grandchildren Ashley Brooke, Nadia and Avery. She will also be missed by a host of nieces,
nephews, friends and caregivers. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM on Saturday May 12, 2012 at
