Freda Louise Milam Hazelton, 72, of New Richmond, WV, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2015 at her home. She was born on August 21, 1942 in Logan County, WV, a daughter of the late Thomas E. and Anna "Annie" Workman Milam. Freda was a former member of the Clear Fork Independent Church of God. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 37 years Clayton Leo Hazelton; and a brother Tommy Milam. Survivors include her daughter Tonya and Thomas Toler of Oceana; four sons Teddy Lynn Hazelton of Oceana, Terry S. and Christina Hazelton, Locust Grove, VA, Timothy Hazelton New Richmond, Thomas Allen and Eugenia Hazelton of Pineville; a sister Peggy Ellen Garrison of Spring Hill, FL; seven grandchildren Dakota Toler, Mariessa Hazelton, Amber Toler, Taylor Hazelton, TJ Hazelton, Morgan Hazelton and Clayton Hazelton; a great grandson Brenner Brooks; and a host of other loving family and friends. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, July 3, 2015 at the Jackson cemetery, New Richmond, WV, with Rev. Hannibal Blankenship, Jr. officiating. Friends may gather with the family from 3:00 PM until time of service on Friday, July 3, 2015 at the cemetery. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.

Elva Clyde "Doc" Lester, 81, of Shannon Mill Creek, WV, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2015 at Appalachian Regional Hospital, Beckley, WV. He was born September 25, 1933 in Keyrock, WV, a son of the late William "Ab" and Nancy Simpson Lester. He was a US Navy Veteran, a member of the Mill Creek Freewill Baptist Church for 36 years and a Deacon and Trustee for 35 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Imogene Blankenship Lester, a daughter Deborah Kay Lester, three sisters Omie Britton, Dolly Lamb and Peachie Henson and four brothers Loy, Troy, Roy and Richard Lester. Those left to cherish his memory include four children Shelia Ann (Greg) Morgan, Eric Lester and Erin Lester all of Shannon Mill Creek and Wesley Clyde Lester of Hinton; two grandsons Joshua (Jessica) Morgan of Turkey Creek and Wesley Shane Toler of Oceana; a granddaughter Taylor Stewart of Pineville; two sisters Mandy (Bob) Toler and Gladys (Bob) Crathers all of Keyrock; a brother Calvin Lester of Keyrock; three great grandchildren Breanna, Cadence and Gavin Clay; very special friends Wayne and Barb Bailey, who were very special to his heart; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday at the Mill Creek Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Wayne Bailey, Bro. Gary Hatfield and Pastor Rodney Hatfield officiating. He will be laid to rest with his wife and daughter in the Madison Miller cemetery, Shannon Mill Creek, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 6 - 9:00 PM on Monday at the church. Benny Joe Whisenant, 78, of Lilly Haven, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 6, 2015, at Saint Francis Hospital in Charleston, W.Va., following a long illness. He was surrounded by his family and lifelong friends at the time of his passing. Born on August 26, 1936, to Horace William and Katherine (Kidd) Whisenant of Clear Fork, W.Va., he spent his early life working on the family farm, hunting and fishing. After graduating from Oceana High School in 1955, he went to work for Eastern Associated Coal where he was a coal miner for 35 years. During his career, he formed lifelong friendships with James Walker and Charlie Painter. He retired in 1989 and for the next 25 years, he enjoyed being outdoors, working around the house, and painting stunning pictures, a craft for which he had a natural, God-given talent. He is preceded in death by three brothers Homer, Harole, and Max and three sisters Ruth, Jean, and Betty. A beloved husband, father, and grandfather, he is survived by a loving and devoted wife and caretaker, India Gertrude Whisenant; a son, Michael David Whisenant and his wife Darva Geneva of Crab Orchard, W.Va.; and two grandchildren, Caleb Brewster Whisenant and Kelsey Dawn Whisenant, also of Crab Orchard, W.Va. He is also survived by four brothers Charles and wife Fay of Sandy Lick, KY, Robert and wife Betty of Colombia, SC, David and wife Jean of Mechanicsville, VA, and Bryant and wife Hannah of Oceana, W.Va.; three sisters Anna Fay Jarrett of Charleston, W.Va., Mary Colorado of Winston-Salem, NC, and Nancy Nichols and husband Lewis of Lilly Haven, W.Va.; and a host of nieces and nephews. Along with family, he is additionally survived by cherished, lifelong friends Helen Cook and Teddy Toler, both of Lilly Haven, W.Va. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday July 10, 2015 in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, with Rev. James Walker officiating. Visitation will precede the funeral service from 11:00-1:00 PM. He will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV. Pallbearers will be Caleb Whisenant, Tony Brown, Stevie Brown, John Craft, Charlie Painter, and James Walker. Honorary pallbearers will be Horace Brown, Bryant Whisenant, Lewis Nichols, and Teddy Toler. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Benny’s memory to the American Lung Association. Catherine Lillian Ryan, 55, of New Richmond, WV, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2015 in Welch Community Hospital, Welch, WV. She was born on December 5, 1959 in Cleveland, OH, a daughter of the late Raymond and Beverly Finkbeiner Ryan. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Raymond Ryan, Jr. Survivors include a daughter Nicole Thomas of Cleveland, OH; a grandson Xavier Thomas; three sisters Nora Belt of New Richmond, Carla Ryan and companion Tony Reed of Matheny and Lori Petry of MI; a brother Ronald Ryan of Matheny; and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. In keeping with her wishes she will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date in Cleveland, OH. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.

Eva Lynn Bledsoe Hunt, 49, of Lillydale, WV, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV. She was born on July 7, 1966 in Welch, WV, a daughter of Ruth Ann Kennedy Bledsoe Estep of Justice and the late Kenneth Perry Bledsoe. Eva attended and was supervisor of the food pantry at the New Awaking Ministry. In addition to her father she is preceded in death by her sister Julia Bledsoe. Survivors include her loving husband of 16 years Hobert Hunt; a son Kenneth Blake Hunt of the home; a sister Nancy (Darrell) Barbour of Hanover; five brothers Kevin (Melissa) Bledsoe of Lynco, Kenneth (Misty) Bledsoe of Brenton, Jason (Chasity) Bledose of Coal Mountain, Steven Bledsoe of Justice and Travis (Ashley) Barbour of Hanover; three step children; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 17, 2015 at the Apostolic Faith Tabernacle, Lillydale, WV, with Minister Jason Bledsoe and Bro. Bradley Kennedy officiating. She will be laid to rest in Morgan - Sandau cemetery, Long Branch Mountain, WV. Friends may gather with the family after 6:00 PM on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at the church. Brenda Sue Workman Maynor, 53, of Cyclone, WV, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at her home. She was born on April 22, 1962 in Welch, WV, a daughter of the late Worley G. and Velma Glee Lusk Workman. Brenda was a member of the Cyclone Church of God. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers David G. Workman and Phillip Workman; and two granddaughters Brooklyn Paige Scott and Miranda Nicole Bailey. Loved ones left behind are two daughters Amanda S. Morgan and Samantha G. Maynor; a loving ex husband Roger L. Maynor; two grandchildren Austin Blake Maynor and Haillie Nicole Scott; a brother John W. Workman; a niece Britany A. Workman; a nephew John G. Workman; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at the Cyclone Church of God, Cyclone, WV, with Rev. Judy Osborne officiating. She will be laid to rest in Brown cemetery, Cyclone, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 11:00 AM until time of service on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at the church. Gerold Cline, 71, of Lynco, WV, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at his home following a short battle with cancer. He was born on September 30, 1943 in Clear Fork, WV, a son of the late Allen and Carrie Toler Cline. Gerold was a 1962 graduate of Baileysville High School. He then worked as a foreman for Big Bear Mines in Lynco for 20 years until he was disabled. Gerold was a big sports fan, he loved watching football and basketball especially the WVU Mountaineers. He also enjoyed being outdoors and watching his birds. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his in-laws Bernard and Merlie Belcher; and his brother-in-laws Alfred, Gene and Jackie Belcher. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 52 years Betty Ann Belcher Cline; a daughter Pam Cline of Lynco; a granddaughter Kayla Counts of Charleston; a grandson Jackie "Bubby" Counts, III of Sunhill; his beloved dog Binky; two brothers Harold (Retha) Cline and Darrell (Letha) Cline all of Clear Fork; two sisters Candis Blondeen (Billy) Jessie of Ramey Addition and Diane (Randy) Lee of Rockview; many nieces, nephews and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at the Clear Fork Independent Church of God, Clear Fork, WV, with Rev. Hannibal Blankenship, Jr. officiating. Gloria Sue "Susie" Miller Clark, 67, of Oceana, WV, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at her home. She was born on June 23, 1948 in Beckley, WV, a daughter the late Osceola Miller and Hallie Fleshman Snodgrass. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a sister Ginny Oliver. Survivors include her loving husband of 41 years Robert Roscoe Clark; a daughter Lisa Gayle Perry of MI; a son Jeff Webb of OH; three sister-in-laws Ann Kelly of OH, Phoebe (Stacy) Price of Oceana and Drema Atkins of Beckley; two brother-in-laws Charles Clark and Doug Clark all of OH; a nephew Doug (Ginger) Webb; several nieces, nephews and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, July 20, 2015 in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV, with Bishop Randy Bowles officiating. She will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV. Friends may gather with the family from noon until time of services on Monday, July 20, 2015 at the funeral home. Tonya Rena Morgan, 32, of Lynco, WV, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Logan Regional Medical Center, Logan, WV. She was born on November 27, 1982 in Man, WV, a daughter of Dora Jane Dingess Morgan of Lynco and the late Timothy Paul Morgan. Tonya was a 2001 graduate of Oceana High School. In addition to her father she is preceded in death by an infant son Adrian Charles Frye; maternal grandparents John and Dona Jean Dingess; paternal grandparents Raymond C. "Bob" and Hazel Morgan and an aunt Donna Marie Dingess. Survivors include a daughter Adriauna Frye of Lynco; a son Charles Hunter Frye of Lynco; a brother Timothy Keith (Tina) Morgan of Chapmanville; an uncle Johnny Glen of Chapmanville; an aunt Pamela Lynn Dingess of Chapmanville; six nieces Abby, Meagan, Keisha, Jerri, Jamie and Brianna; two nephews Jeffery and Joshua; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at the Long Branch Freewill Baptist Church, Long Branch, WV, with Rev. Lonnie Blankenship, Rev. Larry Morgan and Rev. Landon Blankenship officiating. She will be laid to rest in Milty Morgan cemetery, Josh Fork, WV. Friends may gather with the family after 6:00 PM on Monday, July 20, 2015 and Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the church. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Regina Mae Toler, 66, of Glen Fork, WV, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 20, 2015 at her home. She was born on December 26, 1948 in Glen Fork, WV, a daughter of the late Charlie and Beula Evans Pizzino. Regina was a member of the Russell Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother CE Pizzino. Survivors include her loving husband of 49 years Robert Edward Toler; two sons Robby (Shelia) Toler of Concord, NC and Heath (Pammy) Toler of Walnut Cove, NC; a granddaughter Kristen Toler of Gilbert; a grandson Jeremy Stewart of Walnut Cove, NC; three brothers Doug Pizzino, Dale Pizzino and Dwane Pizzino; and a host of other loving family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at the Russell Missionary Baptist Church, Glen Fork, WV, with Bro. Gene Reed and Bro. Lucian Brown officiating. Friends may gather with the family from 6:00 PM until time of service on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at the church. In keeping with her wishes she will be cremated. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV.

Randall T. Justice, 53, of Panther, WV, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at his home. He was born on November 8, 1961 in Welch, WV, a son of the late Minus Bailey and Betty Justice Slone. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister Sandy Justice and an infant sister Andrea. Survivors include two daughters Kayla Justice of Panther and Sandra Justice of VA; two grandchildren Anthony McCoy and Kaylee Duty; two brothers Steve Bailey and Patty of Panther and Richie Justice of NC; a sister Toni Wilson and husband Kurt of NC; and a host of other loving family and friends. In keeping with his wishes he will be cremated. Graveside prayers will take place at 1:00 PM on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at the Bailey cemetery, Trace Fork, WV, for anyone that would like to attend.
