She was born on June 11, 1944 in Davy, WV a daughter of the late William Kelly and Asie England Lambert. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband James Spratt, Jr.; a son Kevin Spratt; three brothers Ralph, Bob and Ronnie Lambert; and two sisters Violet and Faye Lusk. Survivors include a daughter Amanda Faye (Danny Russell) Mitchell of Clear Fork; three sons Randy James (Cleila) Spratt of Salisbury, NC, Michael Edward (Christy P.) Charles Edward "Shag" Robinette, 66, of Princeton, WV formerly of Iaeger, WV passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2016 after a short battle with lung cancer. He was born on December 20, 1949 in Milebranch located in Avondale, WV a son of the late Alfred Thomas and Mary Flossie Estep Robinette. He was a retired coal truck driver. He had driven many trucks in his life including coal, rock, cement and produce, he was indeed a lifelong trucker. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Randy Darnell Robinette. He leaves behind many friends and family including a daughter Djuna (Dennis) Justice of Panther; a son Charles "CT" Robinette of Parkersburg; eight grandchildren Timothy Justice (Amber Adams) of Panther, Alyshia Justice (Vernard Trent) of Wharncliffe, Savannah Robinette and Summer Robinette both of Panther, Skyler Robinette of Grafton, VA, Anastasia Robinette, Haylynn Robinette and Johnathon Robinette all of Princeton; a great grandchild Aidan Justice of Panther; a sister Theda (Johnny) Mullins of Winston Salem, NC; a half sister Nancy DeMars of West Springfield, MA; many special friends including Diane Thornsbury; his girls of S&S Express, the women of S&H Trailer lot; and a host of other loving family and friends. Dwight Trent, 58, of Clear Fork, WV went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 14, 2016 in Princeton Community Hospital, Princeton, WV. He was born on June 20, 1957 in Simon, WV a son of Zida Aliff Trent Chambers of Laurel Branch and the late Melvin Trent. Dwight was a member of Christ Cathedral Church, the UMWA and a 1975 graduate of Baileysville High School. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his step-father Herbert F. Chambers; a sister Geraldine Pinter and a brother Gary Eugene "Gene" Trent. Tony Mason Gibson, 42, of Oceana, WV passed away on Monday February 15, 2016 at his home. He was born December 13, 1973 in Beckley, WV a son of the late Dillard Mason and Jessiline Walls Gibson. Also preceding him in death was two brothers Gary Grant Gibson and Paul Gibson, an aunt Jeraldine Walls Green, an uncle Earl Walls and grandparents Sam and Ronda Gibson and Linza and Murla Hatfield Walls. Survivors include his companion Lora Leigh Stacy of Oceana; a special granddaughter Danielle Brooke Belcher; a sister Barbara Ann Keene of Greensboro, NC; two brothers James David Gibson of Salisbury, NC and Michael Duke (Darlene) Gibson of Pineville, WV; and a host of other loving family and friends. She was born on April 11, 1968 in Detroit, MI a daughter of Geneva Francis Cline Belcher of Lynco and the late Ronald Dale Belcher. Joseph Bryan Toler, 79, of Jesse, WV passed away on Friday, February 19, 2016 at his home. He was born on July 27, 1936 in Clear Fork, WV a son of the late Johnny and Mary Ellen Aliff Toler. Joseph was a United States Air Force Veteran, a certified barber and welder. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Luther Toler and four sisters Norlin Toler, Ethel Blankenship, Lucy Harvey and Polly Crouse. Survivors include a sister Lula Neal of Coolridge; a special niece Veronica Gail (Carl) Allen of Sunhill; and a host of other loving family and friends. Frances "Fuz" Toler, 79, of Mallory, WV, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 19, 2016, at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV. She was born on February 16, 1937, in Logan County, WV, a daughter of the late Joe and Madelyn Denofrio Secreto. Frances was an excellent mother, grandmother, worker and everyone's friend. She opened her heart to everyone and loved to cook and sew. She was a loving mother and devoted her life to raising her children. She was the strength and backbone of her family. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Donald Gene Toler, Sr.; seven sisters Teresa Topeka, Lucy Martin, America Patrick, Virginia Mutters, Antionette Mayhew, Annie Adkins and Angie Betker; a brother Mike Deflumeri; and a niece Mary Margaret Toler. Elmira Frances Stewart, 61, of Oceana passed away on Thursday March 3, 2016. Born February 12, 1955 in Man, WV a daughter of the late Posey Berman and Waveline Gunnoe Lusk. Also preceding her in death were sons Teddy Ray and Ronnie Lusk; a daughter Reana Chapman; two husbands Ronnie Booth and David Stewart; siblings Ellery Lusk, Berman Lusk, Karen Cook. Survivors include brothers Teddy Gunnoe and Tony Lusk; sister Sharon Harrison; grandchildren Ronnie Ray and Marina Lusk, Cheynne and Dillon Chapman; great grandchildren Anna, Jaylynn and Jaiden. Walter Silas Lafferty, 71, of Cedar Creek, WV passed away on Monday, March 14, 2016 at his home with his wife by his side. He was born November 6, 1944 in Matheny, WV a son of the late Benny and Ida Belcher Lafferty. He had previously worked as a coal miner for 21 years in WV as well as King Trucking repair in VA. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son Walter Christopher Lafferty and a brother William “Bill” Lafferty. He is survived by his wife Glenna Cline Lafferty of the home; a daughter Rebecca Peek and husband Willie of Salisbury, NC; two step-daughters Teresa Fromsness of Mt. Leslie Bailey Kennedy, 38, of Glen Daniel, formerly of Oceana took her heavenly flight to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 in Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH following a long illness. Born February 1, 1978 in Beckley, WV to Avary Bailey and the late Betty Jo Cook Bailey. Leslie is a member of Coal Marsh Missionary Baptist Church, Glen Daniel where her husband serves as pastor, and a 1996 graduate of Oceana High School. Leslie loved spending time with her family and church family, camping, fishing, facebooking, but nothing compared to the love that she had for her nieces and nephew whom she adored. In addition to her mother she is preceded in death by her mother-in-law Robin Kennedy, paternal grandparents Sheldon and Willie McMillion Bailey; maternal grandparents Dewey and Virginia Billings Cook. Survivors include her loving husband of 17 years Rev.
