Patty S. White, 95, of Indian Creek, WV passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Welch Community Hospital, Welch, WV. She was born on May 1, 1921 in McDowell County, WV a daughter of the late Josh and Lilly Margaret Mitchell Arnold.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Josh White; a son Harold Eugene White; a step daughter Aileen; two step sons Clyde and Leon Arnold; five sisters Ethel, Carma, Clara, Martha and Rosie; and three brothers Ellis, Henry and George Arnold.
Survivors include two sisters Climmie A. Vance and Lettie Arnold both of Indian Creek; several nieces, nephews and a host of other loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 30, 2016 in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Rev. Tommy Knotts officiating.
She will be laid to rest in Kisser cemetery, Buchanan County, VA.

Michael L. Parsons, 37, of Cyclone, WV was taken tragically from this earth to soon at his home on Thursday, July 28, 2016.
He was born on June 14, 1979 in Beckley, WV a son of Janet Riffe Parsons and William "PeeWee" and Debbie Parsons all of Oceana.
Mike loved coaching baseball and fishing.
He served on the Oceana Little League B.O.D, previously served as a volunteer firefighter for Oceana and Cyclone, EMT and truck driver during his short life here on Earth.
His heart was always full of love for everyone.
He is preceded in death by his stepfather Charles Maynard; maternal grandparents Bishop J.L. and Addie Paynter Riffe and paternal grandparents Virgil and Rita Parsons.
In addition to his parents those left to cherish his memories are a son Michael "Blake" Parsons; a brother Shawn and Becky Parsons of Saulsville; a sister Carla and Ryan King of Oceana; Blakes's adoptive parents Jenings and Dianna Talbert of Oceana; a niece Haeleigh Parsons; three nephews Nathan Parsons, Malachi and Mycha King; and a host of other loving family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at the Joseph Baptist Church, Lynco, WV with Pastor William Cook officiating.
He will be laid to rest in Cook cemetery, Lynco, WV.

Tina Renee Blankenship Cook, 49, of Jefferson, LA formerly of Oceana passed away on Saturday, July, 30, 2016 in Eastern Jefferson General Hospital, Jefferson, LA.
She was born on May 31, 1967 in Welch, WV a daughter of the late Roger Blankenship and the late Betty Jean Massey Lester.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her grandfather Tom Massey.
Survivors include her husband Brian Carpenter of Jefferson, LA; a daughter Brittany Michelle Cook and fiance' Marcus Fortner of Brenton; two sons Steven Ray Blankenship and fiance' Marsha Arrington of Baileysville and Greggory Scott Church of Oceana; a brother Roger (Angie) Blankenship of Charleston; stepfather Milford Clinton Lester of Baileysville; three grandchildren Kyra Blankenship, Peyton Blankenship and Taylynn Fortner; and a host of other loving family and friends.

Ruth Madalene Helmandollar Asbury, 86, of Welch, WV passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at McDowell Nursing and Rehab, Gary, WV.
She was born on November 30, 1929 in Panther, WV a daughter of the late Perry and Effie Mae Whittaker Helmandollar.
Ruth was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Robert Randolph Asbury; a brother and three sisters.
She was the last surviving member of her family.
Survivors include a son Richard Asbury of Isaban; two grandchildren Robert Asbury of Isaban and Jamie (Adam) Daugherty of North Spring; a sister-in-law Philistine Helmandollar of Princeton; two great grandchildren Jacob Daugherty and Noah Chaney; and a host of other loving family and friends.

Kathleen Cole Morgan, 80, of Sunhill, WV passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 surrounded by her loving family with her husband holding her hand at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley, WV.
She was born on April 17, 1936 in Sunhill, WV a daughter of the late Roy and Sadie Cline Cole.
Kathleen was of the Methodist Faith and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was a Christian all of her life and made God the center of it, and an excellent guide in answering questions about the scriptures.
Her most prized possessions in life were her husband, children and her Bible.
Younger she always dreamed of having a job but gladly gave that up to take care of her children and this gave her the most satisfaction and gratification that she could have received.
Kathleen was an accomplished seamstress beginning in her young days making her daughter dresses out of flour sacks and became good enough to make clothes for her teenage daughters, herself and many others.
She was also an accomplished baker who made the best chocolate pies and peanut butter fudge around along with other pastries.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a sister Carolyn Brown; and a daughter Sandra Morgan; a son Clifton Morgan; and grandson Jason Lusk.
Survivors include her loving husband of 63 years Chester Morgan; a daughter Anita Yvonne Morgan of Oceana; a son Timothy Chester Morgan of Beckley; three grandchildren Cindy (JR) Cook, Amy Lusk and Bobby Lusk; five great grandchildren Taylor Williams, Justin Prichard, Katie Cook, Jamie Cook and Madison Blankenship; a nephew Marty Brown; and a host of other loving family and friends.

George enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his motorcycle and most of all spending time with his family.

Cecil Stafford, 53, of Enterprise, WV, formerly of Fanrock, WV passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at United Hospital Center, Bridgeport, WV.
He was born on March 25, 1963 in Cleveland, OH a son of the late Harry L. and Adeline "Trudy" Spoltore Stafford.
Cecil was a 1981 graduate of Baileysville High School.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two sisters Sheila Ann Stafford and Tammy Margaret Stafford.
Survivors include a daughter Taylor Beal of Enterprise; a son Tyler Beal of Enterprise; two brothers Harry L. Stafford and wife Cindy of South Clermont, FL and David "Wormy" Stafford and wife Lynn of Pineville; his best friend Sidney Clifton of St. Petersburg, FL; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving family and friends.
