Vergie Kryeski says good night without getting caught
Margie Hawkins hasn't got dimples or isn't fixing her hair
Helen Firth ever goes out without Micky
Hank Delay doesn't work for H. Mahoney
Rabbits Reynolds can swing with his trombone
Ruth Lister lives up to her nickname

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE SOPHOMORE CLASS

The first class meeting was held for the purpose of choosing a class ring.  It almost ended in a deadlock for the boys differed with the girls as to the choice of rings.   But it finally ended, as you might know, with the girls having their own way.

At a later meeting class officers were chosen as follows:

   President -- Randall Pratt
   Vice President -- Ruth Gustafson
   Secretary -- Phillip White
   Treasurer -- Warren Reynolds

The annual Freshman-Sophomore Reception, the chief social function of the lower classmen, was a success.  Everyone seemed to have a good time in spite of the fact that the committee-in-charge behaved themselves and the punch wasn't tampered with.   Games and a short sketch about the quintuplets preceded the dancing, which was greatly improved due to the efforts of the teachers who before the reception gave aspirants a few lessons after school.
