Nathan Joshua Trammell, 10, of Manassas died Wednesday July 1, 1998 at Prince William Hospital. He would have been entering the fifth grade this fall at Thurgood Marshall Elementary School. Survivors include his parents, Brenda and Michael Trammell; two sisters, Jessica Trammell and Angela Trammell; four brothers, Michael Trammell II, Mark Trammell, Elijah Trammell and Ryan Trammell; his maternal grandparents, Louise and James Sandridge; and his paternal grandmother, Betty Clark. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lee Funeral Home, 8521 Sudley Road, Manassas and Monday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at New Covenant Fellowship Church, 8616 Phoenix Drive, Manassas, where services will be held at 1 p.m., the Rev. Robin Bayles officiating. Burial will follow at Woodbine Church Cemetery.

Anne Roxlau
Anne Edith Roxlau, 76, of Manassas died Tuesday, June 30, 1998 at Birmingham Green Nursing Home, Manassas. Born in Hankow, China, she became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 1962. Survivors include one daughter, Paula Jakub of Manassas; one brother, William J. Kabbert of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and two grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 14160 Ferndale Road, Dale City, with a vigil for the deceased at 8:30 p.m. The funeral liturgy will be Monday at 11 a.m. Burial will be private. Thelma Johnson
Thelma Inez Johnson, 61, of Dumfries died Wednesday, July 1, 1998 at Potomac Hospital. She worked as a Civil Servant and was preceded in death by her daughter, Shelia Johnson and a sister, Narva Mosley Bates, she is survived by four sons, Herbert Bates, Mark Johnson and Richard Johnson, all of Woodbridge, and Charles Johnson of Dumfries; a brother, Henry Bates Jr. of Hampton; 10 grandchilren and one great-grandchild. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Little Union Baptist Church, 17018 Mine Road, Dumfries, where services will be held at Tuesday at 1 p.m., the Rev. Leonard Lacey officiating. Burial will be at Glen Haven Memory Gardens in Falmouth. Arrangements by Ames Funeral Home, Inc., Manassas.

Carol Connolly
Carol Ann Connolly, 59, of Alexandria died Wednesday, July 1, 1998 at Mount Vernon Hospital. Survivors include her husband Kevin J. Connolly of Alexandria; daughter, Susan Ann Connolly of Alexandria; three sons, Sean Connolly of Alexandria, and Brian Connolly and Kevin Connolly of Woodbridge; her mother, Elinor Walton of Massachusetts; sister Linda Stapin of Massachusetts; two brothers, Kenneth Walton and Donald Walton both of Massachusetts. The family will receive friends Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church, where services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday. James Lunceford
James "Dale" Lunceford, 37, of Woodbridge died Thursday, July 2, 1998 at Fauquier Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Debra Lunceford of Woodbridge; his daughter, Taylor Lunceford of the residence; two sons, Robbie Lunceford and Jake Lunceford of the residence; his parents James and Lena Lunceford of Dumfries; his sister Brenda Dollar of Alabama; and his brother Ricky Lunceford of Sumerduck. The family will receive friends Monday, July 6 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Montcastle Funeral home, 4143 Dale Blvd., Dale City, where a wake service will be held at 8 p.m. and services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m.

Leslie Nelson
Leslie B. Nelson, 73, of Stafford County died Tuesday, Dec. 1, 1998 at Vencor Hospital, Arlington. Born in Decatur, Ga., he was retired from the U.S. Marine Corps and the Department of Corrections, Washington, D.C. He was a member of Mt. Hope Baptist Church, Brooke, Stafford County Chapter of NAACP, VFW posts 290 and 190. He was also a volunteer with the Brooks Fire Department for social events and a member of the Men's Club of Mt. Hope Baptist Church. He was predeceased by his wife, Sarah Frances Nelson and his parents, Eugene and Bessie Nelson. He is survived by one son, Cecil Nelson of Stafford County; five daughters, Denise A. Peterson and Deborah Miller, both of Stafford, Diana Nick of Spotsylvania, Teresa Nelson of Fredericksburg, Cecilia Brown of Hartwood; and 13 grandchildren. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Mt. Hope Baptist Church Building Fund, Brooke. Funeral services will be held at noon Monday at Mt. Hope Baptist Church, Burke, with the Rev. George O.A. Lowe officiating. Burial will be in the Quantico National Cemetery with military honors.

George Evans
George Robert "Bob" Evans, 55, of Stafford died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 1998 at the Medical College of Virginia. He was an office technician for Bell Atlantic and was a member of the Eagles Club in Falmouth and the National Rifle Association. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Survivors include his wife Joann Evans of Stafford; two sons, Dare Evans of Marietta, Ga., and Lee Evans of Stafford; one brother, Leo D. Evans of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; and one sister, Carol Fastnaught of Chaptico, Md. The family will receive friends today from 9:30 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. at Mullins & Thompson, Stafford chapel, the Rev. Gary Welling officiating. Burial will be private.

Lloyd Seay
Lloyd A. Seay, 91, of Stafford died Thursday, Dec. 3, 1998 at Potomac Point Retirement Center in Stafford. A resident of Woodbridge since 1939, he had spent the last four years in Stafford. He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. He was predeceased by his wife, Lillian Jones Seay. Survivors include his daughter, Joan Seay Simpson of Woodbridge; two granddaughters and two great-grandsons. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Mountcastle Funeral Home, 13318 Occoquan Road, Woodbridge. A memorial service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church. Harold Maher
Harold D. Maher, 91, of Manassas died Thursday, Dec. 3, 1998 at Annaburg Manor. He is survived by one brother, Charles Maher of New York; and two nieces, Virginia Maher and Ruth Maher Hunter, both of New York. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4 p.m. until service time at 5 p.m. at Blasius-Baker Funeral Home, 9320 West St., Manassas, the Rev. Sanford Blankenship officiating. Sophie Harris
Sophie B. Harris, 70, of Arlington died Tuesday, April 13, 1999, at Arlington Hospital. She was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church, Washington, D.C. Survivors include one son, Donald L. Burke Sr. of Manassas; one brother, Daniel Burke of New York; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday after 10 a.m. until service time at 11 am. at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 26th & P Streets N.W., Washington, D.C., with the Rev. Dr. Clinton R. Jacob Williamson
Jacob Hunter Williamson, infant son of Mark and Juanita Williamson of Dale City, died Thursday, April 15, 1999, at Alexandria Hospital. In addition to his parents, survivors include a sister, Christian Williamson and a brother, Quinton Williamson both of the home; maternal grandparents, Dallas and Ruth Tester of Lynchburg; paternal grandmother, Grace Bruce of Dale City and paternal grandfather, John Williamson of Washington. Services will be held 10 a.m. Monday at Mountcastle Funeral Home with burial win Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas. Sybil Braden
Sybil M. Braden, 75, of Partlow, died Friday, April 16, 1999, at Mary Washington Hospital. A native of Greenville, S.C., she was a retired clerk for The Barn country store, and was predeceased by her husband, Alvin Braden. Survivors include four sons, Joseph K. Braden of Thornburg, Alan L. Braden of Partlow, Stanley L. Harrison of Partlow and Bill Harrison of Charleston, S.C.; two daughters, Brenda Lee Braden of Fredericksburg and Virginia A. Sexton of Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 Sunday night at Mullins & Thompson Fredericksburg Chapel, where services will be held 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Amos Healy officiating. Burial will be in Mount Comfort Cemetery, Alexandria.

Christopher Wallace
Christopher D. Wallace, 12, of Front Royal, died Thursday, April 15, 1999, at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church. A native of Fredericksburg, he spent his early years in Louisa and had lived for the past eight years in Front Royal. He was in the sixth grade at Warren County Middle School and was a member of Boy Scout Troop 52. He was also involved in the Lego Club. He is survive by his parents, Michael G. and Sally E. Wallace of Front Royal and his sister, Lisa J. Wallace of Fairfax; maternal grandparents, Lois and Arthur Vis of Melbourne, Fla.; paternal grandparents, Sue and Andrew Cornelius of Arcola. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Lee Funeral Home of Manassas, 8521 Sudley Road where services will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Chris E. Riedel officiating. Jo Ann Butler
Jo Ann Butler, 46, of Dale City died Friday, Sept. 24, 1999. She worked as a cook at Red Lobster in Dale City and Fairmont Nursing Home in Manassas. Preceded in death by her mother, Classie Eckford; she is survived by her husband, Willie Butler of Dale City; her father, Wallace Eckford Sr. of Richmond; two daughters, Kristen Eve Butler and Melody Jane Butler, both of Dale City; eight sisters, Louranne Allen and Mary Louise Eckford, both of Paterson, N.J., Elaine Eckford of Richmond, Linda Eckford, Catherine Moultrie, and Shirley Warren, all of San Diego, Calif., Linda Eckford of Paterson, N.J., Dorothy Pearson of Spartanburg, S.C.; six brothers, Andrew Eckford, of Chesterfield, Anthony Ray Eckford of New Milfors, N.J., Barry Eckford of Newark, N.J., Calvin Eckford of Chesterfield, Duwayne Eckford of Paterson, N.J., Wallace Eckford Jr. of Paterson, N.J. Linda Hylton
Linda Virginia Hylton, 56, of Woodbridge, died Friday, Sept. 24, 1999, at Potomac Hospital. She was employed by the Hylton Group in Woodbridge for the past 25 years. She was a member of Women of the Moose. She is survived by her children; Rick D. Hylton of Manassas, Cindy D. Carpenter of Woodbridge, and Donnie D. Hylton of Woodbridge; her father, John D. Crane of Liberty, N.C.; her mother, Grace V. Stackhouse of Liberty; her brothers, Billy D. Crane of Charlotte, N.C., and Wayne Crane of Liberty; her sisters, Sue Menefee of Fairfax, and Margie T. Adams of Burlington, N.C.; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held today at noon at the Hylton Chapel, 14640 Potomac Mills Road, Woodbridge. Burial will follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens. Frank Brutski
Frank J. Brutski, 63, died Monday, Sept. 27, 1999, at Hospice of Northern Virginia. He was a retired master sergeant from the U.S. Air Force with over 20 years of service, where he worked as a systems analyst. He was a member of the American Legion Post #539, the Quantico Rod and Gun Club and a volunteer in the Quantico Civilian Conservation Program. He is survived by his wife, Susan Brutski; one daughter, Debra Ann Ward of Lavaral, Md.; four sons, Robert Brutski of Stafford, Frank Brutski and Steven Brutski, both of Woodbridge, David Brutski of Calif.; and six grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Mountcastle Funeral Home, 13318 Occoquan Road, Woodbridge, with a prayer service at 8 p.m. where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. James Smith Sr.
James "Jimmy" Lee Smith Sr., 58, of Gordonsville died Saturday, Sept. 25, 1999, after a bout with cancer. He was born in Logansport, Ind., on Nov. 8, 1940. He is survived by his wife, Brenda S, Smith of the home; five sons, James L. Smith Jr. and John R. Smith, both of Arlington, Michael R. Cox, Robert J. Smith and Rodney Smith, all of the home; one sister, Sherry Hylton of Ormond Beach, Fla.; one brother, Robert Smith of Frankfurt, Ind.; and one granddaughter. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Thomasson's Funeral Home, 117 West St., Louisa.

Norma Mullins
Norma Elizabeth "Betty" Mullins, 65 of Manassas Park died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999, at the Prince William Hospital. She was a graduate of West Virginia Business College. She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church and was active in church activities. She was also a member of the Manassas Park Women's Club and was active in the Senior Group; and an active participant throughout her years in Boy Scouts of America, PTA and Recreation. She was the Commissioner of Revenue for Manassas Park for 19 years having retired in 1996. Survivors include one daughter, Elizabeth "Beth" Karmosky of Dumfries; four sons, Steven Eugene Mullins of Madison, Ala., James "Jimmy" Mullins of Haymarket, Richard D. Mullins and John "Kevin" Mullins, both of Manassas; six sisters, Josephine West of Clinton, Md., Maxine Mullins of Pilgrims Knob, Brenda Christian of Manassas, Janice Atwater of Crofton, Md., Patricia Weinhardt of Fredericksburg and Sharon Rose of Jolo, W.Va.; and two brothers, Eugene Mullins of Belmont, N.C. and Michael Mullins of Fredericksburg; and three grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 8006 Centreville Rd., Manassas. A second visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Fanning Funeral Home, Taeger, W.Va. where services will be held at 1 p. m. Ludwig Miosi
Ludwig Bernd Dieter Miosi, 51, U.S. Marine Retired Major, of Montclair died Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, at the Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. He was a resident of Montclair since 1980, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 20 years retiring as a Major; he was a recipient of the Purple Heart with two Gold Stars, the Navy Commendation Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Presidential Unit Citation, the Meritorious Unit Commendation, the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal with three Stars, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Republic of Vietnam Meritorious Unit Citation Gallantry Cross, the Civil Action Color with Palm and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. Survivors include his wife, Dianna Miosi; one daughter, Elizabeth Miosi of Montclair; one son, Christopher Miosi of Montclair; his mother, Maria Miosi of Lewisburg, Pa.; three sisters, Maria Baker of Indiana, Helga Savidge of Michigan, Linda O'Neil of Rhode Island; three brothers, John, Michael and Thomas Miosi, all of Pennsylvania. Services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at the Marine Memorial Chapel at Quantico with interment to follow at Quantico National Cemetery with full military honors. Grover Dodson, Jr.
Grover Cleveland Dodson, Jr., 84, of Fredericksburg died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999, at Fredericksburg Nursing Home. He was a resident of Fredericksburg for 25 years. He was a former resident of Lorton. Survivors include his wife, Doris I. Dodson; five daughters, Karen Burris of Alexandria, Kathleen Reece of Orange, Joyce Treadway of Fredericksburg, Connie Dodson and Debbie Dodson , both of Fredericksburg; two sons, Leroy Dodson of Dale City, and Robert Dodson of Beaverdam; one sister, Edith Lacy of Lorton; two brothers, Elmer Dodson of Fredericksburg and Harold Dodson of Franconia; 16 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Visitation was held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Mountcastle Funeral Home. Services will be held at 1 p.m. today at Mountcastle Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd., with interment in Mount Comfort Cemetery.

Angelena Pandazides
Angelena Pandazides died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999, at her residence. She was Mayor Pro Tem of the town and a town council member since 1963. She was active in her family real estate business, and was a member of the Prince William and Virginia Democratic Committee. She attended modeling school in Washington, D.C.. She was a member in the Lions Club, Daughters of Penelope, Soroptomist Club, and Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of the St. Constantine & Heller Greek Cathedral in Richmond. Preceded in death by her her parents, Pete and Sofia Panda zides and her brother, John P. Pandazides, she is survived by her sisters, Mary P. Petkoson of Quantico and Olga Bassil of Norfolk. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Mountcastle Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd., Dale City 22193. Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Quantico Marine Memorial Chapel where a Greek Orthodox Service will be held. Interment will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Riverview Cemetery in Richmond.
